Everest

Mt. Everest is the highest mountain in the world, standing at 29,029 feet (8,848 meters) tall. It is located on the border between Nepal and the Tibetan Autonomous Region of China, and is known as Sagarmatha in Nepali and Chomolangma or Qomolangma in the Sherpa and Tibetan languages.

Kilimanjaro
Mount Kilimanjaro is the tallest mountain on the African continent and the highest free-standing mountain in the world. It has three volcanic cones, Mawenzi, Shira and Kibo. Mawenzi and Shira are extinct but Kibo, the highest peak, is dormant and could erupt again. The most recent activity was about 200 years ago; the last major eruption was 360,000 years ago. Almost every kind of ecological system is found on the mountain: cultivated land, rain forest, heath, moorland, alpine desert and an arctic summit.

Mont Blanc

Mont Blanc is Europe’s highest peak, towering 15,531 feet (4,734 m) above sea level, it is a mecca for outdoor enthusiasts. Straddling the border of France and Italy, this iconic peak is considered the birthplace of modern mountaineering. Denali

Denali (formerly named Mount McKinley) is the highest mountain peak in North America, with a summit elevation of 20,310 feet (6,190 m) above sea level, and a topographic prominence of 20,194 feet (6,155 m) Denali is the third most prominent and third most isolated peak on Earth, after Mount Everest and Aconcagua. Located in the Alaska Range in the interior of the U.S. state of Alaska, Denali is the centerpiece of Denali National Park and Preserve.

Aconcagua
Aconcagua is one of the Seven Summits of the seven continents. It’s the highest mountain in the Southern Hemisphere with a summit elevation of 6,961 meters (22,838 ft). It rises above the cities of Mendoza and San Juan Province. The mountain and its surroundings are part of the Aconcagua Provincial Park. The mountain has a number of glaciers. The largest glacier is the Ventisquero Horcones Inferior, which descends from the south face.

Puncak Jaya

Puncak Jaya, or Carstensz Pyramid, is a mountain peak on the continent of Oceania. It is located in Indonesia, in the province of Papua. It is part of the Sudirman mountain range. At 4,884 meters (16,024 feet) high, it is the tallest mountain in the southwestern Pacific. It is also the highest island peak in the world.
